Longxin at KHIMIA 2025
KHIMIA 2025 opened in Moscow in November 2025, bringing together chemical producers, technology suppliers and engineering companies from Russia, Eastern Europe and other international markets. Longxin Smart Equipment joined the exhibition at booth 2C134 to present its powder processing capabilities and discuss practical production challenges with overseas customers.
For Longxin, the exhibition was not simply a product display. It was an opportunity to understand local requirements for energy efficiency, stable product quality, safer operation and more flexible production. These requirements are increasingly important for chemical manufacturers that are upgrading existing lines or planning new capacity.
Grinding and drying equipment presented at the show
The equipment portfolio presented at KHIMIA covered several core powder-processing steps, including wet grinding, atomization drying, rapid drying and fluidized drying. The focus was on selecting the right process according to material properties, target particle size, moisture level, heat sensitivity and production scale.
Large-flow nano bead milling
For coatings, advanced materials and other applications that require fine dispersion, Longxin introduced its large-flow nano bead milling technology. The system is designed to provide efficient energy transfer, controlled particle-size reduction and stable continuous operation. Depending on the formulation, the grinding chamber, rotor configuration, media size and cooling system can be selected to support fine or nano-scale dispersion while controlling temperature rise.
Centrifugal and pressure spray drying
Spray drying remains a key route when a liquid feed, suspension or slurry needs to be converted into a free-flowing powder in a continuous process. Longxin discussed both centrifugal and pressure atomization options at the exhibition. Centrifugal atomization can offer flexible processing for many chemical and food-related materials, while pressure atomization can be suitable when droplet formation and product morphology need to be controlled through nozzle conditions.
The final equipment configuration depends on feed viscosity, solids content, required particle distribution, outlet moisture, product temperature and downstream handling requirements. Longxin combines atomization selection with air-flow design, heat and mass transfer calculations, powder collection and process control.
Flash and fluid bed drying for difficult materials
For wet cakes, pastes, powders and granular materials, Longxin also presented flash drying and fluid bed drying solutions. Flash drying is commonly considered for materials that require rapid moisture removal and short thermal exposure. Fluid bed systems can provide intensive gas-solid contact and uniform drying for suitable particles or granules, with options for continuous or batch operation depending on the process.
During customer discussions, the technical team focused on material behavior rather than recommending a machine based only on nominal capacity. Factors such as stickiness, agglomeration tendency, heat sensitivity, bulk density and dust characteristics all influence dryer selection and system design.
Technical discussions with customers from Russia and Eastern Europe
Throughout the exhibition, Longxin met customers and partners from Russia and neighboring markets to discuss equipment selection, process optimization and complete-line projects. Many conversations centered on reducing energy consumption, improving batch consistency, handling difficult powders and adapting equipment to local plant conditions.
Longxin can support projects from laboratory and pilot testing through equipment selection, engineering, manufacturing, installation guidance and commissioning. For customers evaluating a new process, material testing is often an important first step because it provides practical data for scale-up and helps reduce project risk.
From individual machines to integrated powder processing lines
Longxin develops equipment for wet grinding, drying, granulation, conveying, thermal processing and related powder operations. For larger projects, these technologies can be integrated into a complete production line with centralized controls and coordinated material handling.
