Wet grinding and spray drying routes for battery-material slurries, selected around feed properties, particle size and downstream processing.

New Energy Materials
Wet grinding and spray drying routes for battery-material slurries, selected around feed properties, particle size and downstream processing.
New Energy Materials
Battery-material processing connects slurry preparation with drying and the next production stage. For LFP formulations, the high-flow nano grinding system addresses wet particle-size reduction and dispersion, while the LFP spray drying system converts the prepared slurry into powder. Grinding fineness and the dried granule distribution are separate process targets.
The sodium-ion material spray drying system provides another route for suitable precursor or active-material slurries. Define the chemistry, solvent, solids content, viscosity, contamination limits, target moisture and powder properties before selecting equipment. Feed, grinding, slurry storage, drying and powder handling can then be evaluated together, with trials used to confirm the route and its interface with downstream thermal processing.

High-Tap-Density LFP Spray Drying System
Jiangsu Longxin has developed a new-generation ultrafine powder spray dryer specifically for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) materials. Designed to meet strict requirements for particle size, sphericity, and powder morphology, the system enables precise particle size control with typical D50 ranges of 20–30 μm or 5–10 μm. The resulting powder features high sphericity and a dense, solid spherical structure, while the equipment also offers improved drying efficiency, energy utilization, process stability, and automation for LFP battery material production.Read More → -

High-Flow Nano Grinding System for LFP Materials
Longxin configures high-flow pin-type bead mill systems for lithium iron phosphate slurry grinding. The route coordinates slurry feed, media separation, cooling and process control, with optional integration into storage and spray drying. Feed particle size, solids content, viscosity, target size and hourly flow rate guide equipment selection and testing.Read More → -

Battery Material Grinding & Drying Production Line
Longxin's battery-material line links feeding, slurry preparation, high-flow pin-type nano grinding and centrifugal spray drying with powder handling and centralized controls. The grinding and drying duties are sized together from slurry properties, target particle distribution, evaporation load and production requirements; thermal processing and packaging interfaces are project options.Read More → -

Sodium-Ion Battery Material Spray Drying System
Longxin configures spray drying for suitable sodium-ion battery precursor or active-material slurries. Stable feed delivery, atomization, heated-air contact and powder collection are selected around solids content, viscosity, target particle characteristics and throughput. Centrifugal atomization and an air-assisted ultrafine option are evaluated as alternatives through material testing.Read More →
